Dalam laman resmi Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) dijelaskan bahwa varian virus baru biasanya terjadi karena adanya mutasi yakni sedikit perubahan yang terjadi saat virus menggandakan dirinya. Ketika virus semakin tersebar luas dalam suatu populasi dan menyebabkan banyak infeksi maka potensi mutasi virus yang terjadi pun akan meningkat. Sehingga semakin banyak virus itu melakukan replikasi diri maka peluang perubahan yang terjadi juga semakin besar.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saat ini, virus-virus dengan varian baru itu pun dikabarkan telah menyebar ke negara-negara lainnya termasuk Indonesia. Varian B.117 <\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ditemukan di Sumatera Utara 2 kasus, Sumatera Selatan 1 kasus, Banten 1 kasus, Jawa Barat 5 kasus, Jawa Timur 1 kasus, Bali 1 kasus, Kalimantan Timur 1 kasus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><strong>3. Varian B. 1351 <\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ditemukan di Bali 1 kasus.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ketiga varian jenis baru virus Corona tersebut pun menjadi perhatian khusus Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) karena dampak penularannya dinilai lebih besar. Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia itu menyatakan virus tersebut kemungkinan memiliki mutasi yang membuat virus lebih mudah menular, menyebabkan penyakit yang lebih parah, atau menghindari kekebalan vaksin. Sehingga orang yang terinfeksi B.1617 ini lebih mungkin terinfeksi ulang. Varian B.1617 juga disebut sebagai &#8220;mutasi ganda&#8221; dengan label L452R di California, dan E484Q di Afrika Selatan serta Brasil. Namun kabar terbaru mengungkapkan bahwa vaksin yang dikembangkan di India yakni Covaxin tampaknya bisa menetralkan varian B.1617.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meskipun tidak selalu muncul, tetapi secara umum beberapa gejala yang ditunjukkan oleh orang yang terpapar varian B.1617 antara lain:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;
