Seorang wanita yang bekerja dan sudah menikah, diperbolehkan melakukan kewajiban pajak bersama dengan suaminya.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Pajak Penghasilan No. 36 Tahun 2008, disebutkan bahwa sistem pengenaan pajak Indonesia ini menempatkan keluarga menjadi satu kesatuan yang ekonomis. Pada UU tersebut, dalam pasal 8 disebutkan, bahwa wanita yang sudah menikah pada awal tahun pajak atau pada awal bagian tahun pajak maupun kerugian dari tahun sebelumnya belum dikompensasikan, maka penghasilan dan kerugian yang dialaminya dianggap sebagai penghasilan dan kerugian suaminya. Tapi, perhitungan PPh terutang dihitung secara proporsional berdasarkan penggabungan penghasilan neto suami dan istri.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Memilih Terpisah (MT)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: status ini menunjukkan istri memilih untuk menjalankan hak dan kewajiban pajaknya secara terpisah atas dasar surat pernyataan yang berisi bahwa istri akan menjalankan kewajiban pajaknya sendiri. Tapi tetap perhitungan PPh terutangnya dihitung berdasarkan penghasilan neto suami dan istri.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Khusus untuk suami dan istri yang menghendaki secara terpisah dalam melakukan pemenuhan kewajiban pajaknya harus memiliki Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP) pribadi, bukan NPWP keluarga. Tapi tentu ada konsekuensinya, yaitu beban pajak suami dan istri yang memilih terpisah akan lebih besar daripada beban pajak suami dan istri yang menggunakan NPWP tunggal atau gabungan.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selain itu, jika memang memutuskan NPWP tunggal atau gabungan, jika suami dan istri masih memiliki NPWP yang berbeda, maka akan dianggap terpisah. Jadi, kalau kemudian ingin digabung, maka NPWP istri harus dicabut terlebih dahulu dengan mendatangi\u00a0 kantor pajak regional atau jika memungkinkan menggunakan sistem <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">online<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> yang tersedia.
