marak dan masih saja menimbulkan korban. Padahal pemerintah sendiri sudah <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gercep<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dalam memberantasnya. Ibarat mati satu tumbuh seribu, daftar pinjol ilegal yang telah di-<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">blacklist<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> terus melakukan regenerasi dengan nama perusahaan baru. Yang membuat miris adalah ketika banyak korban yang terjebak pinjol ilegal menerima perlakuan tidak etis saat ditagih oleh pinjol ilegal.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salah satu kasus pinjol ilegal yang ramai baru-baru ini terjadi di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Korban pinjol melapor ke pihak kepolisian, bahwa korban hanya berutang sebesar Rp5 juta, tapi wajib membayar bunga sebesar Rp80 juta dalam sebulan. Dalam kasus ini, akhirnya polisi menetapkan delapan orang tersangka, dan menjerat mereka menggunakan pasal berlapis, yaitu UU Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (ITE), Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang (TPPU), UU Perlindungan Konsumen, Pasal Pemerasan, dan pasal yang lainnya. Akibatnya, tersangka terkena hukuman 10 tahun penjara.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contoh korban ini mungkin hanyalah segelintir yang beruntung kasusnya bisa berakhir dan viral di media. Sisanya masih banyak yang tidak terekspos. Di antaranya:<\/span><\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ketidaktahuan masyarakat terhadap legal atau tidaknya aplikasi pinjaman online menjadi latar belakang utama banyaknya orang yang terjebak pinjol ilegal.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bahkan mereka mengaku sama sekali tidak tahu kalau telah meminjam dana kepada pihak yang ternyata adalah penipu berkedok aplikasi pinjaman online.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Gali lubang tutup lubang;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> menutup pinjaman atau kredit lama dengan pinjaman yang baru antara aplikasi pinjol ilegal. Tak hanya berutang pada satu dua aplikasi, bahkan ada yang berutang sampai 40 aplikasi pinjol sekaligus.
